Will it actually fit my specific tight spot?
At 0.62" thick and 15.4" long, it fits where standard ratchets, wobble extensions and flex-head wrenches can't go. If there's a straight path to the bolt, this reaches it.
Can I use it with my impact wrench?
Yes — set your impact wrench to setting 1 or setting 2 MAX (Depends per brand). Most brands deliver between 20–40 Nm on setting 1, which is well within BoltHero's safe range. Setting 2 or higher risks damaging the chain mechanism over time.
What about a pneumatic impact wrench?
Keep your compressor pressure at a maximum of 2–3 bar. Above that you risk overloading the chain mechanism. Note that output varies per brand and model — treat this as a safe guideline, not a universal guarantee for every air tool.

My item had a slight defect where the chain had a slight bind to it as it was rotating, was still functional, but was a concern when I received it. I reached out to the company, and after a few brief emails, and a short video, they replaced my bolthero! I purchased this not knowing when I would use it, but knowing I have had numerous situations that it would have come in handy. The customer service of this company goes far and above expectations. I love mine, I just wish there was one shorter for tighter places. I'd buy it in a heartbeat and would bet everyone else would also.
I felt that after many years as a mechanic, with the engineering changes and fitting big things into small packages, that I needed this option for repairs in specialized spots. It works very well so far.

This is a very good device and feels solid, not used in anger as yet, but testing removing hard to reach bolts made the job considerably easier than trying to attached Rachet, Universal Joints and Extensions to undo the bolt.
Haven't given it a real test as yet but it feels good & appears to be of good quality.
